Derbyshire RFU

A big thanks to Belper RFC who were able at short notice organise an additional venue for the RFU Engagement Tour.   Our Derbyshire Clubs were well represented.

We also took the opportunity at it to present Bob Curry with his Past Presidents badge. Bob is currently NLD President so he’s not really getting much rest on relinquishing that role with us and I don’t know if Tupton ever see him now.

The last few months have been quiet however our President, Ian Roe, has made a few forays out to meet some of you.

He’s always open to invites particularly if both teams playing are Derbyshire Teams. Club VP and President’s days are always a good option so that as many folks as possible have a chance to catch up with him.

The NLD Competitions Team are looking for venues for this season’s Finals Day – Men’s and Women’s Senior XV Competitions, and a particularly interested in coming across to Derbyshire so if you thing you might be up for that please let me know and I’ll put you in touch.
