SOS Kit Aid Donations

SOS Kit Aid Co-ordinator for the NLD region, Adrian”Frenchie” France would like to share this thanks to kit donators from across the NLD…

Keyworth RFC

“A huge THANK-YOU to Keyworth RFC for their large donation of kit and to their Chair, Kevin Price, for facilitating it and for meeting me at Newark to hand it over.

It is much appreciated and really will help to make a difference!”

Southwell RFC

“A big THANK-YOU to Southwell Rugby Club, for their donation to SOS Kit Aid today. Particular mention to Jack Berridge for making it happen and to Steve Hussey for the logistics, your efforts are greatly appreciated. It really does help make a difference!”

North Hykeham RUFC Club Day

“A big THANK-YOU to Will Stone, Gareth Thomas, Pete Usher, Ken Beaumont and some of the members of Lincoln RFC for their donations to SOS Kit Aid, at the North Hykeham RUFC Club Engagement Day…

A great day was had by all, with some great rugby played, across the ages, and the kit really will help to make a difference!”

Nick Mudd

“A huge THANK-YOU to Nick Mudd, Past President NLD, former NLD Chair of Discipline and Club Member of West Bridgford, for his XXL donation of personal stash, acquired over a lifetime of rugby activities.

You’re an absolute star!”

Dave Miller

“Many thanks to Dave Miller of NLD Refs, RFU Refs and Touch World Cup 2024, Nottingham, Event Volunteer, for another great donation of kit.

Thank-you, you’re a star!”

Mat Coultas

“On behalf of SOS Kit Aid, I want to say a huge THANK-YOU, to Dave Miller of the Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire & Derbyshire Rugby Union Referees Society, NLD Rugby Referees for such a great donation!

While most of the kit is personal stash, accumulated over the years, poignantly some of it belonged to Mat Coultas, a National League and NLD Referee, who died tragically in December 2023.

Regardless of the passage of time, I would like to pass mine and SOS’ condolences to Mat’s family and his refereeing colleagues and it is, perhaps, fitting that his kit will continue to be used to enable rugby.”

Tony Clayton – Lincoln RUFC Bomber 10s

“Through a chance conversation at the Lincoln RUFC Bomber 10s, Tony Clayton said he had some kit in his garage that he’d like to donate.

What that actually meant was, a big bag of brand-new shirts, many still in the bag.

Tony, the kit is much appreciated and it will help to make a difference. So, on behalf of SOS and myself, thank-you, you’re a star!”

NLD Rugby Referees

“A big THANK-YOU on behalf of SOS Kit Aid to Trev Sharpe, Alan Hawkes and Chris Johnson of NLD Rugby Referees, for their kind donation of personal stash, while officiating at the Lincoln Club, Bomber County 10s Tournament, earlier today.

It is much appreciated and it will make a difference!
