RugbySafe Team Update – April 24
Our RugbySafe team have provided the following update…
Proactive App
Proactive is a reporting app that allows quick and easy reporting of risk management issues affecting everyday sport activities.
As announced last month, NLD RFU will pay for NLD clubs to use the Proactive Reporting system for rugby, including the RugbySafe HEADCASE Concussion Tracker (video has no sound), designed in partnership with the RFU RugbySafe Team.
Clubs should use the above QR code (or this link) to get access to the app for the 2024/25 season.
So far, 20 clubs have signed up to use the app – if you haven’t already, you are urged to do so as the funding is available and waiting for you!
A Proactive demonstration will form part of the agenda for the April RugbySafe Leads Meeting (see below).
Risk Assessment Template
The RugbySafe team, in conjunction with Safeguarding, have developed an NLD Risk Assessment Form for Tournaments, Festivals and Tours.

RugbySafe Leads Meeting
The next meeting is scheduled for April 18th from 730pm to 930pm at Newark YMCA.
Tea/Coffee will be provided and ample parking is available.
