NLD Girls Conference Cup Update

Games took place between girls teams in the under 14s, 16s and 18s age groups from the All MACS cluster (Melbourne, Ashby and Castle Donnington), Ashfield, Derbyshire Dragons cluster (Ashbourne, Chesterfield, Dronfield and Matlock), Kesteven, Lincolnshire Valkyries cluster (Boston, Lincoln, Market Rasen, Scunthorpe), Long Eaton, Mansfield, Newark, Notts Casuals, Paviors and with some Leicester Forest players joining at under 18s.

It was a huge step forward for NLD Girls to have internal competitive rugby within NLD and was really well supported by our clubs with some excellent rugby on display. The competition continues over the next few weekends culminating in a finals day on 28th April.

The NLD Girls Conference Cup has been designed to balance elements of participation, development and competition and for this reason in it’s current format will not publish tables of results.
