NLDRFU Presidential Visits
Our new Honorary President for 2023-24, Malcolm Yates, has been getting out and about visiting clubs and attending matches.
Market Rasen & Louth was one of his favourite clubs to visit as a player and referee and he said he was made to feel ‘very welcome by the old guard’ during a pleasant afternoon visit in August.
Malcolm was also very proud to pose with a young NLD match referee at Otley RUFC last month as his son took on the role. Malcolm, said, ‘It’s good to see there is a pathway through to the higher leagues for the referees who have proved their worth in the NLD’.
