Message from Lincolnshire RFU Committee relating to the 2022-23 Lincolnshire County Cups

“The Lincolnshire RFU committee has reluctantly taken the decision to cancel this season’s County Cup competitions.

Despite the flexible nature of our cups, with clubs free to make their own arrangements regarding dates, it has proved largely impossible for clubs to play these games before the scheduled finals day in early May

Weather related cancellations, the consequent rearrangement of league fixtures and national and NLD cup games have been major contributory factors.

Lincolnshire RFU will consider the feasibility of the future running of the Lincolnshire County Cup in the current competition structure.”
