February 2023 – Volunteer of the Month
The winner of the February 2023 O’Neills’ NLD Volunteer of the Month award is Ted Thornburn from Bourne RUFC.
The reason given for Ted’s nomination is “Ted is a club stalwart and does nearly every job within the club including (and not limited to) Club Chairman, Treasurer, Bar Manager, Barman, Minibus Driver amongst his portfolio!
He gives up so much of his time for the Club yet never asks for any thanks”
Ted is one of many, many unsung heroes on who we rely to make rugby work in the community!
