West Bridgford Women’s Coach
West Bridgford RFCVolunteer Coaching Opportunity: West Bridgford Women’s Rugby
West Bridgford Women’s RFC is actively seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for rugby to join our coaching team for the 2026–27 season as a volunteer development coach.
Our women’s section includes a successful 1XV competing in NC1, alongside a thriving development pathway supported through the Inner Warrior programme. This is designed to provide playing opportunities for development players, especially for clubs like ours who may not have a full 15 in their development side.
The Role
Working alongside our Head Coach, you will:
- Support and coach development players during weekly training sessions.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment for new players learning the game.
- Provide guidance and feedback to players during Inner Warrior fixtures.
- Play a key role in shaping our development player pathway.
This role would be particularly suited to someone looking to gain practical coaching experience in a supportive club environment.
Availability
Next season we will be training on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Tuesday training sessions will focus on skill development and Wednesday training sessions will focus on match preparation (primarily for 1XV players). Our new development coach would be expected to attend as many Tuesday evening sessions as possible, with Wednesday training sessions being an optional extra. At these Tuesday sessions you would get to work with our Head Coach to plan sessions that both challenge our experienced players but also provide space for new players to learn the basics. The development coach would also be asked to attend the Inner Warrior fixtures on Sundays with our development players to offer them guidance and feedback.
