Chair of Belper Rugby Club
Belper Rugby ClubBelper is a thriving rugby club in the heart of the community playing at Counties 3 level. Following the pandemic, the Club has successfully grown in both of its core activities; on the rugby side, the three men’s teams, a women’s team, a thriving colts set up and the minis and juniors, have been strengthened by the addition of the Touch Rugby offering. On the commercial side we have expanded our social facilities, increasing turnover – the revenue generated is re-invested into club projects for the benefit of all members.
This has been achieved through the efforts of volunteer members and sponsors, overseen by a small Executive Committee. The current Chair will be standing down in mid- July 2024 and the club now wants to appoint a successor to ensure progress with the Club’s development plans.
If you are an avid rugby fan, who showcases the TREDS rugby values, and you have a commercial, strategic or operational management experience, we would like to hear from you. The Chair leads the Executive Team which sets out the plan for the overall development of the whole Club and relies on the other members of the management team, and other volunteers at the club to implement the various projects and activities.
The Executive Committee is supported by sub-committees to oversee the efficient running of the club.
