Sadly, Match Official Abuse contains to remain in the top 3 of all cases heard by the Panel: number 3

Number 2 is the old stalwart of striking an opponent. Perhaps something to discuss within the squad cadre. It is always worth pointing out that ‘striking in retaliation’ is no defence.

Finally, we have seen a rise in the number of Dangerous Tackles reported – these are normally high tackles 9.  This is number one disciplinary issue: training the correct technique is something coaches should consider spending more time on in training.

Also, it is worth noting that whilst Clubs do tend to turn round their internal processes faster which can expedite the return to play of the recipients of Red Cards some still only get heard after when a return to play might have been permitted.
