SOS Kit Aid Seeking More Volunteers

SOS Kit Aid are seeking volunteers across the NLD region…

Anyone who has recently retired from rugby or work and is looking for something to occupy their spare time while making a difference can join SOS KIT AID and put something back into rugby and life in general.

The award-winning charity is looking for SOS regional kit collectors, kit packers and members of their management team. Those interested can put in as much or as little time to suit their lifestyle.

Meet some great people at the same time as helping thousands of disadvantaged youngsters around the world by helping SOS Kit Aid to recycle quality used and new rugby kit. With the help and support of World Rugby, they send kit all around the world. £8 million worth of quality kit in the last 20 years sent to 63 emerging countries worldwide. At the same time, they are saving over 1,500 tonnes of harmful CO2 emissions because recycled kit means new kit does not need to be manufactured.

As part of the recruitment campaign, Adrian France (Frenchie), the NLD Area Manager for SOS Kit Aid, is looking for someone to cover Derbyshire. If interested, please drop him a line at, [email protected] and he’ll take you through what’s required.

Thank-you.
