Exciting New Appointment to NLD Team
NLD are delighted to be able to introduce you to Paul Westgate who has been appointed as our new Head of Coach and Match Official Development.
Many of you who have already completed Coaching or Refereeing courses will already know Paul from his work running those courses for the RFU. Paul is a Level 5 RFU Coach and RFU Trainer and Mentor. He has experience of both coaching at international level and mentoring elite coaches but also working with coaches in Age Grade rugby. Paul is currently director of rugby at Nottingham University where he coaches their BUCS Super League team. Paul will be working with us to develop coaches and match officials at both Adult and Age Grade.
