Introducing… Tupton RUFC Ladies
Tupton RUFC have a new ladies team – Michelle Bird tells us how they are progressing…
“We held an Open Day in April, which was a huge success – 22 women turned out for our first ever Women’s Section Day.
“The day was such a success that we now train every Sunday. Thanks to our very own Men’s Senior Team Coach, David Dean who, runs the sessions.
“The training sessions are open to anyone aged 15+ and for complete novices to experienced players.
“We are hoping to recruit more ladies and spread the word of our fantastic ladies team. Our aim is to continue to grow the sessions and the sport in our area.
“We offer ladies a chance to gain confidence and promote health and well-being.
“Our sessions are fun and we offer a friendly supportive environment.”
