NLD are delighted to announce that Simon Worsnop will present to delegates at this year’s NLD Game Development Conference, formerly the NLD Coaching Conference, which will take place on Saturday 11th June 2016 at Samworth Academy in Mansfield.

Simon is National Fitness Advisor to the RFU and will lead a presentation on Improving Fitness of Players through playing games.

NLD Head of Game Development Dave Andrews commented; ‘At last years conference Richard Shuttleworth was a great success and so we are delighted that Simon has agreed to speak for us this year.  The conference has been really well received by coaches throughout NLD over the last few years and we are once again looking forward to another successful event.’

There will be a number of key topics on discussion throughout the day including an update on the new Age Grade Regulations, the Young Officials Academy within NLD and also the opportunity for delegates to take part in a CPD in the afternoon of the conference.  One of the CPD’s on offer will be the brand new ‘Managing Contact’ option which is likely to prove a popular choice.

The conference is subsidised by NLD RFU and the Sir Anthony Wharton Trust and offered to delegates at a discounted rate of £10 which includes lunch.

Applications for the conference will open shortly so put the date in your diary and watch this space!
