Hall-Fast and Nottingham Rugby head down to Twickenham on Wednesday 2nd September to attend a glittering awards evening at the home of English rugby.
The Mansfield based industrial supplies firm has been shortlisted in the final three of the inaugural National Rugby Awards in conjunction with Nottingham Rugby in the Club Sponsor of the Year category. The winner of this prestigious award will be selected for its innovation and commitment where the sponsor has enthusiastically and effectively added value.
The Lawson Keys National Rugby Awards are designed to honour the achievements of all the thousands of rugby clubs across the country, acknowledging their dedication and commitment to the sport. They will be recognising clubs, players, coaches, volunteers, mini sections, supporters and many more people that make rugby the fabulous game it is.
Steve Smith, General Manager at Nottingham Rugby said; “It’s brilliant that we have been shortlisted with Hall-Fast, who have supported the club as a community partner for five years and have recently committed to a further five, helping to grow and expand some of our programs into the Southern end of Nottinghamshire and also into parts of Derbyshire. The programs we have developed are very innovative, including the clubs “Little Ruggers”, which will be rolled out during the Rugby World Cup to clubs wanting to develop activities for 2-5 year-olds and engage their parents in rugby, high profile events with our exciting Tri-posts, through to the continuation of our North Notts Community Partnership program.”
Malk Hall, MD and owner of Hall-Fast said “I was delighted when I heard that the Nottingham Rugby Community Department had put us forward for this award, I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the delivery that they have given to thousands of youngsters within North Notts, who have received sessions as part of our community partnership”.
