NLD are excited to introduce three new appointments to the NLD Management Committee following on from the restructure at this year’s AGM.
Lee Slack has been appointed to the role of NLD Head of Representative Rugby and will oversee all of the CB Representative Squads. Working closely with the Coaching and Management Teams of the respective squads, as well with the new Head of Game Development to ensure there are succession plans in place Lee is an exciting addition to ‘Team NLD’.
With a wealth of business knowledge, plus vast experience of the NLD Representative Squads gained from his role of NLD U18 Manager, Lee is an ideal candidate to take on this new role.
With over 20 years of experience coaching NLD Representative Squads, a qualified RFU Coach Deliverer as well as having sat on the NLD Coaching Committee for a number of years Dave Andrews is an excellent position to take on the role of NLD Head of Game Development.
He will work closely with the RFU Professional Staff to ensure Coaching needs within the three counties are met as well closely linking with the NLD Referees Society. Dave will be able to use his vast experience to offer an exciting pathway for those involved in the game. He will also oversee Safeguarding & Medical within NLD.
Completing the trio of appointments is Dave Duddles as the new NLD Head of Competitive Rugby. Dave has huge experience of the game and has sat on the NLD U7-12 Committee during the RFU’s introduction to ‘Shaping the Game’ which has developed into ‘New Rules of Play. As well as this Dave is a current member of the NLD U13-19 Committee and has worked closely with the Senior Competitions Committee in hosting Finals Days at his home club of Newark RFC.
