It is with much regret that we learn of the passing of Dr. David Murphy, ex Stamford Rugby captain and President, and Honorary Life Member of NLD since 2006. He was a former Orthopaedic Surgeon and RAF Group Captain and father to Andrew and Jonathon. His grandsons John and Ben still play regularly for Stamford. Dr. Murphy was a very well known and respected player and a friend to many throughout the local world and will be greatly missed.
