Nottingham Rugby will again be offering opportunities for young people to join its Coach Core Apprentice Programme in conjunction with Nottinghamshire Professional Sports Clubs. Last year one of the Nottingham Rugby apprentices, Ethan Beard was exceptionally successful, delivered rugby activities to 1000’s of young people, gained a Level 2 qualification whilst also completing his RFU Level 1 and Tag Rugby Awards. Ethan has progressed onto a Level 3 Apprentice programme locally with Premier Sport and will continue to be involved with Nottingham Rugby’s Community Department.
Steve Smith, General Manager at Nottingham Rugby said; “the programme is excellent for young people, who get to develop their qualifications whilst gaining significant levels of experience coaching in a supportive and high quality environment. If you are looking for a career in sport, leisure or coaching then this is a brilliant opportunity to help rugby develop in local schools and clubs.
