NLD U17s v Eastern Counties U17s

Venue Sleaford RFC 1pm

NLD playing their first fixture produced an error-strewn first half which Eastern Counties capitalised on out-scoring NLD by 3 tries to 2, half-time score was 14-17.

Following a frank team talk NLD came out and produced a much tidier second half performance running in 4 tries, summed up by the appearance of one our props in the outside centre channel who crashed over to score, no way he was going to pass to the winger who was screaming for the ball.  EC got a consolation score on the final whistle to make the full-time score 42-24. Impressively our place kicker hit 6 from 6.
