NLD Game Development Funding Available

NLD Game Development now has funding available to support clubs in developing volunteers in the following areas.

  • Coaching and Match Officials

If you have volunteers who wish to qualify or develop their skills in this field NLD Game Development can help by funding attendance at RFU Award courses, or CPD for coaches and CMOD for Match Officials.

  • First Aid

It is highly recommended that every team within a club should have one or more qualified First Aiders attached to that team for training or matches. To this end NLD are willing to financially support clubs in qualifying personnel through the RFU First Aid in Rugby Union course.

We will also support volunteers with a Medical Qualification, e.g. Physiotherapist, nurse doctor, Sports Therapist , in completing the Immediate Care in Sport L2 qualification.

We also recommend that anyone involved with Rugby Union no matter in what capacity whether it be player, coach, parent, committee member, should complete the FREE online Headcase Qualification which outlines how to recognise Concussion and how it should be treated.

If you club is interested in accessing funding ( and why shouldn’t it be?), please complete the Expression of Interest Form LRP 2019-20 and return to [email protected] as soon as possible. We would like to be able to let you know whether you have been successful by the end of December.
