In the coming months, NLD RFU and the local RFU Staff are running a number of Club support workshops across NLD to support you as we move towards the end of this season and start to prepare for next year. We’d like to encourage clubs to send along a number of members of the committee or volunteers so that they can share the learning on the night and have some good discussion around the topics discussed.

GMS/Club Needs Workshop
This workshop is designed to support Clubs in using GMS (alongside the current data “Spring Clean” project which we hope you’re all going ahead with), training new users, troubleshooting and getting Clubs to a point where they can use GMS to identify Club needs, and areas requiring action or support. It’s ideal for a Club’s Honorary Secretary, Membership Secretary, Registrar, Club Coaching Coordinator, Club Referee Coordinator and Mini and Junior Chairperson. Book onto this by emailing Nicole at the NLD Office on [email protected] by Friday 13th May with your Name, Club and Role. Please bring with you a laptop or tablet device so you can access and use GMS during the workshop.
Club Development Workshops – TBC
These workshops will be designed based on the feedback from Clubs during and after the GMS/Club Needs Workshops and based on Club Accreditation actions to provide support to Clubs around specific needs in (hopefully) convenient geographical areas. The events will take on a “Communities of Practice” style with models of good practice shared and discussed creating an opportunity for Clubs to support Clubs with guidance from RFU staff.
Food will be provided at each of the workshops and members of the NLD board will be looking to attend them to gather Club needs and facilitate some discussion to aid them in writing their PFR plan for the 2016-17 season, ensuring that it is focused on the needs of Clubs within NLD.
