The RFU have announced the calendar of Immediate Care in Sport Level 2 courses that will be running in Spring 2016.
These courses may be of interest to any medical professionals working within your clubs – Physios / Doctors etc so please do pass the information on to them.
NLD RFU has a limited amount of funding available for people who wish to attend the course and gain the qualification.
We are looking for committed professionals to work as part of the NLD team providing cover to representative squads and at finals and events that we run throughout the season. These are paid events and in return for a commitment to NLD then funding would be available to the right applicants. Ideally these professionals will already work within a club in NLD and therefore the qualification will be of massive benefit to them as well.
For more information interested parties should contact Nicole Brown in the first instance to discuss further.
The RFU have tightened up on guidance to the level of medical cover clubs should have for matches / events / festivals etc. This is something we are investing in within NLD to ensure we are able to provide the best possible care at NLD events and this care will filter down into clubs as well.
