NLD are delighted to announce that there will be the opportunity for Clubs & Volunteers to be nominated for the NLD Awards which will be presented at the AGM on 26th June 2017. 

Four trophies have been very kindly donated to NLD which will look to annually reward Clubs & Volunteers for all of their hard work throughout the season.

Any club or individual is encouraged to nominate in each of the categories below:

NLD RFU ‘Volunteer of the Year’
This award is for a hard working volunteer who goes above and beyond in their rugby related role.

NLD RFU ‘Outstanding Achievement of the Year’
Open to clubs, teams or individuals who may have achieved something against all odds, seen significant improvement or accomplished something that deserves recognition.

NLD RFU ’16-24 Player Retention’
This award is to recognise Clubs who are innovative in engaging the 16-24 age group and aiding the transition into the Senior game.

 

NLD RFU ‘Spirit of the Game’
The core values of the game are so important and this award is to recognise a Club / Team that may promote these values, have an excellent disciplinary record or be extremely hospitable hosts.

The guide notes above are just that – a guide – to give you some ideas as to the focus of each individual award.    Don’t be shy with your nominations – this is an excellent opportunity to celebrate some of the outstanding work and achievements in the rugby community within NLD!
