The draws for the first round of next season’s trophies were made at the Competitions Committee Meeting on June 17th. The dates for completion of each round of the NLD and Domestic Unions competitions were arranged taking into account the very congested RFU Structured Season including the timing of the County Championship.
Sunday May 1st. NLD Final Please note that should players be required for the NLD County Championship on April 30th the NLD Cup Final may be moved to mid-week at the request of the finalists.
Sunday April 3rd. Domestic Union Finals
Played by February 27th. NLD Semi Finals
Played by February 13th. Domestic Union Semi Finals
Quarter Finals of both NLD and Domestic Union competitions to be completed by January 2nd. 2011
Preliminary and First Round matches of both NLD and Domestic Union competitions to be completed by November 7th.
The dates are aimed to give clubs maximum flexibility in fitting their fixtures alongside their league programmes issued this week.
The regulations for the competitions will be issued by end of July taking into account any IRB rule changes.
